After retiring early from my corporate career, I was fortunate enough to pursue my passion for all things fragrance-related. Like many South African girls, I grew up in a home with potpourri in every room and a mother who taught me and my sister that we could leave the house without lipstick but never without perfume!
But somehow, after years of searching the market for products up to my standard, they always fell short. I started testing and experimenting with something of my own. My criteria were simple. I set out to manufacture and develop a superb product that is natural, aesthetically pleasing, sustainable and not harmful to nature. I wanted to make top-quality fragrance products available, accessible, and affordable.
That's how B-earth was born. We had a humble start in a storeroom on my sister's smallholding, working without tiring on a passion burning as bright as the candles I was making! Through it all, I've always been grateful to know I was busy creating something beautiful – a living testimony that dreams do become reality.
We have since opened the B-earth Scent Studio! An interactive, creative space to connect with you, our fragrance fans, whose support has been overwhelming.
Our vision for the future is to always remember the beginnings, stay true to our authentic selves with humility and gratitude, and do our best to live our motto of being kind to ourselves, helping you be kind to yourself, and always being as kind as we can to nature!
